Health and Safety Title

Health and safety is an important area for any company and one that Formark treats with the highest regard.

Here are four key facts that demonstrate our commitment to health and safety:-

Independent assessments - carried out quarterly by health and safety consultants Hamilton Deed to ensure Formark is up to date with the latest best practice and law and we are implementing them correctly at all times. To view the latest independent Risk Management Survey Report please click here.

Fully qualified staff
- all our site operatives are registered within the CISRS, Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme, and they are regularly assessed both in-house and independently to ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Independent accreditation
- Formark is a fully accredited member of CHAS, the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, something we undertake every year.

Low accident ratio - a testament to Formark's pro-active approach to health and safety within our operations.

Training - Title

As a scaffolding contractor to many of the UK's leading construction companies, Formark is committed to all it's site operatives being registered within the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) and completing the approved training courses run by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).

The company's comprehensive training programme ensures that all site operatives are given the opportunity to learn the scaffolding trade whilst in full-time employment - splitting their time between CITB courses and on-site supervised training.

CISRS recognises both the competence of the scaffolder to carry out a range of scaffolding operations to the standards required by the industry and also that he has followed an approved route of training and experience before being assessed to National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) standards.

This rigorous training programme ensures Formark continues to maintain the highest health and safety standards.
